Site work for a mixed-use development in Milk River, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The main items of Work of this Contract include the following: Topsoil stripping and stockpiling adjacent to the work area. Common and waste excavation for the establishment of final grades for 8 Avenue, 4 Street, and adjacent lanes. Adjustment of existing appurtenances to the final grades along 8 Avenue and 4 Street. Supply and placement of 100mm Base Granular Material for the establishment of 3.0 m wide lanes. Supply and placement of 250mm Base Granular Material on 8 Avenue and 4 Street. Supply and placement of 90mm Type 3 Hot Mix Asphalt c/w Prime Coat, or supply and placement of 90mm Base Granular Wearing Course as the final road structure on 8 Avenue and 4 Street, budget dependent. Supply and placement of reinforced low-profile curb and reinforced concrete swales. Supply and installation of 200mm SDR35 PVC storm pipe complete with applicable rip rap and concrete end treatments.
