Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Auburn, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Although the use of subconsultants is reco as being necessary for a multidiscipline project, the City's preference is for the lead consul have the majority of the work performed in-house. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project w replace the existing north/south stop control at the intersection of SE 304th St/116th Ave single-lane roundabout, install rectangular rapid flashing beacons at two of the pedestrian crossings, install street lighting, and install new sidewalks. Additionally, this project will mo existing storm drainage system and possibly relocate existing water valves and storm/sew manholes. The City of Auburn reserves the right to retain the ser the successful firm for any subsequent phases (ex. Right of Way, Construction Support) as with this Project. SCOPE OF WORK The design contract will include project management, coordination, public outreach support, geotechnical evaluation, environmental approval an permitting support, contract plans, specifications, and estimates at the 15%, 30%, 60%, 9 final review levels, preparing ROW plans and exhibits, and bidding assistance/construction assistance. The City will be providing topographic survey and base mapping as needed to s design. Optional work may include ROW negotiation and acquisition. SELECTION PROCES EVALUATION CRITERIA Each proposal is limited to a maximum of 10 numbered letter sized of content (excluding only the cover and any dividers) (minimum font size 10 Arial) and sh address each criteria element listed below. A committee of City personnel will evaluate and proposals on the following criteria, weighted as indicated: 1. Project Team Qualifications Identify the Project Team (those who will be actively working on this project). Include an organizational chart and identify any sub-consultants. Discuss the proposed Project Team's expertise and experience with 3 similar projects within the last 10 years. At a minimum, information for the following team roles must be provided: Project Manager, Utility and Str Infrastructure Design Lead Civil Engineer, and ROW Specialist. Please include the following information for each project: a. Project name and location b. A brief description of the proj Provide the total project costs d. Project Team Member roles in the project e. A project ref and contact phone number 2. Important Issues (20%) List and briefly describe a minimu three of the most important issues or considerations for this project and identify the attrib and/or experiences that may set your team apart or make it particularly well-suited to add issues. 3. Lessons Learned (10%) Describe specific lessons learned by your firm/team re similar projects and what those lessons learned taught the team. 4. Quality Assurance / Q Control Plan (10%) Describe your firm's process/procedures for providing quality assuranc control throughout the life of the project. 5. Project Schedule Management (10%) Discus the Project Team will meet the proposed schedule shown in the Project Description section Describe your team's general approach towards schedule management and availability of t members. 6. Revisions to Draft Scope of Work/Consultant Agreement Template (5%) A preliminary draft scope of work and the City's template consultant agreement are included supplemental RFP documents. Provide any requested additions, deletions, or revisions you request to these documents if you were awarded this contract. Please note that modificatio the City's consultant agreement template are generally discouraged. 7. Familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA Standards (for all potential phases) (5%) Describe the Project Team's know and experience with WSDOT standards for design, ROW and Construction. Following the evaluation of the Proposals, the City will interview up to 3 of the prospective consultants. T firms selected for interview will have the opportunity to present their past experience with projects and overall project approach. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
