Site work for a water / sewer project in Ocala, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Ocala (Grantee) has approximately 4,000 new homes that need access to a centralized sanitary sewer system (CSSS). Without a connection to a CSSS, installation of septic tanks is needed. To avoid installing septic tanks, the Grantee will install approximately 6,000 linear feet of approximately 18-inch force main that will connect to lift station 127, creating a connection point for the approximate 4,000 new homes. This force main installation prevents approximately 57,360 lbs of total nitrogen from contaminating the groundwater annually. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Grantee will install approximately 6,000 linear feet of approximately 18-inch force main that will connect lift station 127 to a centralized sanitary sewer system. Documentation: The Grantee will submit: 1) a copy of the final design; 2) a signed acceptance of the completed work to date, as provided in the Grantee's Certification of Payment Request; and 3) a signed Engineer's Certification of Payment Request. For the final documentation, the Grantee will also submit: 4) An email from the Department's GIS web-interface data collection tool, confirming that data for the project has been submitted. Performance Standard: The Department's Grant Manager will review the documentation to verify that the deliverables have been completed as described above. Upon review and written acceptance by the Department's Grant Manager, the Grantee may proceed with payment request submittal. Payment Request Schedule: The Grantee may submit a payment request for cost reimbursement no more frequently than monthly Bidder must upload a completed Price Proposal with their response. 2. Bidder must bid on all line items. 3. The quantities in Price Proposal are estimated based upon past annual usage and should not be construed as guaranteed minimums. 4. The City can remove items out of the scope of work if needed during the project time frame. 5. Bids will be received on a unit price basis. The City will pay the Contractor only for the actual units that the Contractor provides, installs, or constructs. 6.
