Roof Replacement Services for the Existing Roof of the Weapons Training Facility found within the EOC Campus Questions Due Date: Jul 15th 2025, 11:00 AM EDT Online Portal Contractor can anticipate Notification of Intent to Award of the Contracts on or about August 14, 2025 The Montgomery County Weapons Training Facility Roof Replacement Project includes the replacement of the existing multi-ply roof with a PVC-KEE Thermoplastic Membrane System. There are two (2) larger sloped roof areas and a smaller canopy and auxiliary roof (approximately 24,400 SF +/-). The larger roofs are constructed with metal deck and composite metal deck /concrete substrates. Collateral Work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of the larger roof gutters and downspouts. Other work includes the replacement of the pre-cast concrete wall panel joints around the perimeter of the building, as well as crack repair in a pre-cast wall panel. The Contractor shall employ his workers for overtime work without additional cost to the Owner if required to meet the completion dates. B. The extent of the contract work is indicated in the Contract Documents. 1. Local custom and trade union jurisdictional settlement do not control the Scope of Work included in each prime Contract. When a potential jurisdictional dispute or similar interruption of construction activities is first identified or threatened, the affected prime contacts shall promptly negotiate a reasonable settlement to avoid or minimize the pending interruption and its delays. C. The scope of the work shall not be limited to what is specifically called out on the drawings or specifications, but shall include any and all selective demolition as well as any cutting and patching as may be required to accomplish the intended construction.
