Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Ottawa, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Construction of a new bridge over the Ottawa River to connect Ottawa and Gatineau, crossing Kettle Island in the Ottawa River, connecting the Aviation Parkway to Montée Paiement in Gatineau. TIMELINE: Project is very conceptual. The Owner has online launched public consultations on a proposed new interprovincial bridge in Ottawa’s east end. The new bridge at Kettle Island could be completed between 2032 and 2034. Parsons & Stantec have been hired for technical advisor consulting services. Updates may be available summer 2026. *Budget is unreleased.
