Reference Number 0000297137 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/07/16 11:59:00 PM EDT The City of Ottawa has a requirement for a Contractor to provide all labour, materials, and equipment to underake snow and ice maintenance services for various Drinking Water Facilities throughout the city. Commercial General Liability insurance issued on an occurrence basis for an amount of not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence for any negligent acts or omissions by the Contractor. Such insurance shall include, but is not limited to, bodily injury, death and property damage including loss of use: premises, property and operations liability; products and broad form completed operations liability; blanket contractual liability; cross liability; severability of interest clause; contingent employers liability; personal injury A performance security will be required from the successful bidder prior to the execution of a contract or the placing of a purchase order. Such performance security may, at the discretion of the City, be either in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Tender Price, in the form of cash, a cheque certified by the bank upon which it is drawn, a money order, an irrevocable bank letter of credit with an auto renewal clause (draft form provided by the City of Ottawa), OR a Renewable Performance Bond for a Multi-Year Contract with an Emergency Remedial Measures Rider in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Total Tender Price from a surety company authorized by law to carry out business in the Province of Ontario. The performance security will be retained until completion of the contract to the satisfaction of the City. The performance security may be reduced at various stages of the project, at the discretion of the City.
