Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Galena, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Replacement of sanitary sewer main and addition of storm sewer on Hill Street from Prospect to High Streets ;transfer of sanitary services to new main; PCC curb & gutter; PCC driveway aprons, pavement removal, base preparation and new PCC or HMA pavement. All bids must be accompanied by a bank draft, cashiers check, certified check, or bid bond payable to the City of Galena for 10 percent of the total amount of the bid. The City of Galena reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. All inquiries and questions about the contract documents are to be made in writing, preferably by email, sent to Matt Oldenburg - City Engineer at: mjoldenburg@cityofgalena.org Question Deadline 06/30/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
