Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work to be performed under this contract includes the following: Base Bid 1 - Iron Latch Road: Milling and resurfacing of Iron Latch Road. Contract work also includes minor curb improvements and ADA ramp reconstruction. Base Bid 2 - 2025 Road Program: Milling and resurfacing of Penobscott Place, Shinnecock Trail from the west entrance of Hampton Hill Road to Penobscot Place, Evergreen Court, Deer Trail, Hemlock Court, Jack Wallace Way parking lots, Woodside Elementary School Parking Lot, High Mountain Road School Parking Lot and a new parking lot, sidewalk and curbing at Jack Wallace Way Multi-Purpose Building. Contract work also includes minor curb improvements, guide rail upgrades, and the reconstruction of inlets. Alternate Bid - McBride Field Asphalt Sidewalk: Installation of an asphalt sidewalk. Principal items of work in the project include: Base Bid 1 - Iron Latch Road: . 19,395 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less . 2,600 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course . 430 L.F. 9" x 18" Concrete Vertical Curb Base Bid 2 - 2025 Road Program:. . 38,400 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less . 5,655 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course . 665 L.F. 9" x 18" Concrete Vertical Curb Alternate Bid - McBride Field Asphalt Sidewalk: . 550 S.Y. Hot Mix Asphalt Sidewalk, 6" Thick The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed within 90 calendar days of notice to proceed. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit and ownership statement compliance form and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid and, not to exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Owner a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of the Contract. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, addressed to the Owner and labeled for the IRON LATCH ROAD IMPROVEMENTS AND 2025 ROAD PROGRAM. Unless otherwise permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3, all bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24. The Owner reserves the right to reject bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, N.J.A.C. 7:22- 9.10, or other applicable law; to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder, as per N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-1, et seq.
