Remove existing roofing system in its entirety down to existing roof deck . 2. Install new modified bitumen roofing system with new insulation for Roof Section 2 (comprised of Roof 2, Roof 2A and Roof 2B). The square footage is listed on Drawing T0.01. 3. Refer to Drawings for scope of work regarding piping, vents, mechanical equipment, roof drains, expansion joints, roof edges, equipment curbs, roof ladder, and flashing. 4. Remove existing masonry and reinstall masonry after installing new through wall flashing as areas shown on the Drawings. 5. Refer to Divisions 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9 for specification sections with additional requirements for the scope of work. CONTRACT #126 PARTIAL ROOF REPLACEMENT (ROOF SECTION 2) AT RAMAPO HIGH SCHOOL. All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All bidders and subcontractors must have a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. Bidders are required to comply with The Law Against Discrimination and Affirmative Action. Bidders and/or subcontractors must be classified by NJDPMC in the discipline: C068 Roofing Membrane Modified Bitumen. No bidder on the State Treasurer's or Federal Governments List of Debarred, Suspended, or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not more than $20,000. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and comply with all requirements in the instructions and specifications. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements.
