Question Deadline 02/25/2026 Notice of revisions or addenda to the Contract Documents shall be no later than seven (7) days, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, prior to the date for acceptance of bids be published in a legal newspaper and be made available by notification in writing by certified mail to any person who has submitted a bid or who received a bid package. Minority Participation 22% Women Participation 6.9% The work to be performed includes the installation of sidewalk along the south side of High Mountain Road from Huron Road to Market Basket driveway and from High Mountain Road Elementary School to Kuliana Court. The contract also includes ADA curb ramp improvements, curb installation, and ancillary drainage improvements. Principal items of work include site clearing, installation of 2,305 square yards of 4-inch thick concrete sidewalk, 540 square yards of 6-inch thick hot mix asphalt driveway, and 1,050 linear feet of 9" x 18" concrete vertical curb. The work must be completed within 60 calendar days of notice to proceed. Bids must be made on prescribed forms provided with the Contract Drawings and Specifications and must include a non-collusion affidavit, ownership statement compliance form, Consent of Surety, and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than 10% of the bid amount (not to exceed $20,000). The successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the accepted bid amount and the required insurance policies or certificates. Bidders who are corporations not chartered in New Jersey must provide a certificate of authorization to do business in New Jersey. Bidders must comply with equal employment opportunity requirements and disclosure of partners and stockholders. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, labeled for the project, and comply with prevailing wage rates determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. All bids are irrevocable for 60 days. The owner reserves the right to reject bids, waive minor informalities, or accept the bid of the lowest responsible bidder.
