Brown County is seeking qualified vendors to propose solutions for replacing aging UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems in select telecom/network closets within the Resch complex. This initiative aims to ensure the reliability of power for critical networking and server equipment. Upgrade the existing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and Power Distribution Units (PDUs) in eight Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs) and two Main Distribution Frames (MDFs) within the Resch Complex. The new battery backup systems must be designed to reliably support network and server equipment at each location.DECOMMISSIONING A. Removal of existing UPS systems in all locations, including: 1. UPS units. 2. Battery packs. 3. Maintenance bypass units. 4. PDUs. 5. Any cabling that cannot be reused. 6. Any rack mounting hardware that cannot be reused. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. RFB Questions Due July 10, 2025 3:00 PM This Request for Bid is for the replacement of existing UPS systems within the Resch Complex in Green Bay, WI. The purpose of this RFB is to specify the base needs for the equipment and technology requested but is not intended to present all necessary components needed to install a fully functional system. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure any necessary components are included in the bid that may not be detailed in this document. Bidders must meet all the guidelines listed below to be considered for the project. Only qualified bidders will be accepted based on years of experience, quantifiable completed installations, and similar installs of size and scope. This RFB also requires that the installation of all equipment be complete and functional at time of commissioning. Any components that are not spelled out in this document that is required in making these upgrades shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder. If the UPS replacements do not meet the required specification from the original bid, it will be at the bidders cost to ensure a complete and fully functional system. PROJECT TIMELINE 1. Tentative Installation start date: Monday, August 25th, 2025 2. Substantial Completion Date: Friday, September 26th, 2025
