Demolition, site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to a military facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Completed plans call for the addition of a military facility.
This project encompasses the design, permitting, construction, and site restoration associated with elevating the existing Field Mill 01 (FM01) platform at Playalinda Beach, located within Canaveral National Seashore (CNS), and restoring functionality to Field Mill 28 (FM28) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS). The project aims to mitigate the risk of storm surge damage and flooding, which led to both sites being taken out of service. The project will result in a platform for FM01 elevated 5 feet above the current elevation, targeting a final elevation of 10 feet, and the restoration of electrical service to FM28 following recent seawall construction. The project will comply with all applicable regulations and requirements.
