Renovation of an educational facility in Waterloo, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work of the Project, of which Work of this Contract is a part, comprises the following: .1 Modification of existing plumbing systems within Centre for Environmental & Information Technology (EIT) building to provide new backflow prevention throughout the building. .2 Work includes addition of new electric domestic hot water heaters and pumps located within the Physics mechanical room to serve EIT. .3 Work includes addition of new backflow prevention devices, thermostatic mixing valves, emergency eyewash fixtures and alterations to existing domestic water and drainage piping. .4 Work includes all associated electrical work to accommodate scope related to water heaters, pumps, and electric trap seal primers. .5 Work includes all associated cutting, patching, and modifications to existing walls, ceilings, and floors to accommodate plumbing alterations. .6 Work includes any abatement required to accommodate the work described above.
