The procurement is an advanced equipment package purchase for the replacement of multiple non-operational boilers and pump equipment. This is an equipment purchase ONLY. The equipment should be delivered to Escambia County Facilities Management 100 E. Blount Street; Pensacola, FL 32501. The non-operational equipment is beyond life expectancy and needs immediate replacement. Although the installation of this equipment is in the professional design phase, the County is seeking to advance purchase the equipment in order to time delivery with installation scheduled to be complete prior to October 15, 2025. The design for this project is based on AERCO BENCHMARK 3000 Low NOx Boilers (natural gas fired) and BELL & GOSSETT E-1510 Pumps. Furnish, deliver and start-up services for each piece of equipment as described in detailed specifications, Pump Schedule and Boiler Schedule. Start-up services will be performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and include all testing, adjusting and balancing by the equipment manufacturer or manufacturer-certified technician in accordance with any warranty requirement to ensure safe proper operation of furnished equipment after installation by a separate contractor. Escambia County reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any and all bids, in whole or part, to utilize any applicable state contracts in lieu of or in addition to this bid, and to accept the bid that in its judgment will best serve the interest of the County.
