Reference Number 0000391448 The Garden City Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is seeking bids from qualified firms wishing to provide crack seal, asphalt fill holes deeper than two inches, sealcoat and stripe the parking lot and driveway entrance to the municipal parking lot located at the NE corner of Middlebelt and Ford Roads. This will entail approximately 2.90 acres (approximately 126,300 square ft) of surface with the striping to include regular parking spaces, accessible spaces in the western lots (the parking area west of the drive/entrance way and the southern lot east of the drive/entrance way and only vendor subspaces in the eastern event lot. The attached aerial with measurement is the area for this project. The pavement markings will be in white color for the parking stalls. The parking layout is attached two sheets prepared by Hennessy Engineers, Inc. The overlay should be in yellow with 2 inch width line markings for each event space. Each event space is 10' x 10'. The numbers should be stencil marked in each corner the numbers 6 inches in height. The event space map is attached as "Lucky Squirrel Map." The eastern parking lot (east of driveway) and northern portion of the project area shall be marked for event space only. SPECIFICATIONS: The specifications for the Sealcoat & Stripe are outlined below: Two Sealcoat Applications shall be included in this bid. All pavement markings shall be included in this bid. Contractor to be responsible for setting-up and maintaining traffic control, including signs designating lane closures as attached in "Specifications for Traffic Maintenance and Control." Application of material shall be done in accordance to the attached "Specifications for Parking Lot Sealcoat, Joint and Crack Sealing."
