The City of La Porte is soliciting proposals for selection of a Construction Manager-At-Risk firm for the City of La Porte Public Works Facility Improvements, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposals document. Questions shall be in writing and submitted through Public Purchase, CivCast or at purchasing@laportetx.gov. Deadline for questions is Tuesday, July 15th at 5:00 PM The project is currently split into four phases. The current RFP represents the work for Phase III and Phase IV. The Public Works Facility Improvements project (Phase III) includes a new 22,000 SF building located adjacent to their existing Public Works Facility at 2963 N 23rd , La Porte, TX 77571 and east of the Phase I building still to be constructed. The program will include multiple work bays, parts warehouse, breakroom, several offices, sign shop, and storage. Phase IV includes site development consisting of new paving, utilities, and landscaping. The current facility and parking will remain operational throughout construction. Once the new Public Works Facility is built demolition of the current building and construction of the parking lot can begin.
