Reference Number 0000391249 The objective of this RFP is to solicit proposals for Energy Consulting Services, which include the procurement of natural gas, oil, electricity and other energy resources at the most competitive prices, assistance in the energy evaluation process and assistance in negotiations with energy providers. Additional services may include evaluation of the City's energy program and making recommendations for energy conservation efforts. The City is seeking qualified Energy Consultants to provide services related to the procurement of natural gas, fuel oil and electricity for the period that begins after the RFP has been awarded and approved by the Woonsocket City Council through June 30, 2026. The City has a need for a qualified, experienced Energy Consultant who can aid in the analysis of energy commodities markets, municipal aggregation, negotiation and completion of energy supply contracts, energy conservation and alternative energy resources as well as the analysis and management of net metering credits. The City of Woonsocket (""City"") is issuing a Request for Proposal (""RFP""), for professional services necessary to procure energy from a supplier, to review and make recommendations for the City's energy providers, as well as the provision of general energy consulting services on behalf of the City. The time for the provision of professional services is for the period starting after the RFP is awarded and approved by the Woonsocket City Council through June 30, 2026, with the option to renew for an additional three (3) one-year terms for each fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026.
