Site work for a civil project in Terrace, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

This contract requires the following: 560m of Right of Way Falling and Subgrade construction, three culvert installs (culverts supplied by the Ministry), one wood box culvert installation, and surfacing of the North Hirsch A64088-3 FSR (Spur 1) for 560m from the start of construction. The construction is necessary for the assembly and installation of the supplied 27 m bridge. No further construction is anticipated past 0+560 m. Felling of the right of way trees shall be implemented in an organized pattern and direction that will facilitate efficient movement of timber for the prospective Licensee. It is preferred that the butts of the tree face the road and that stems be placed perpendicular to the road centerline. Trees shall be cut to a 6inch top. Right of Way shall be cut to 15m on either side of centerline. Final surfacing material is expected to be from road fill material. If further surfacing is required, the contract will be amended for final surfacing with pit run, Excluding the 110m of specified capping between 0+081 and 0+191. A pit run location and rip rap location has been identified at 220m on the proposed road and at 32.6km on the North Hirsch. Bidder are asked to bid with surfacing from road cut material. The logs for the 1x4 Wood box Culvert will be sourced from the Right of Way timber. Bridge and substructure components are in the Terrace yard, substructure components include: 16-flat top lock blocks, timbers for ballast walls, 9-Bridge panels, signs, and non-woven filter fabric.
