As of 9/15/2025, bids were rejected. a. Renovation Work: 1) Demolish existing electric water heaters as indicated and prepare services for new electric water heaters. 2) Demolish mixing valves as indicated. 3) Coordinate with new work and retain existing plumbing lines that are to bereused. b. New Work: 1) New storage-type electric domestic water heaters, valves, fittings, new circulating pump, hardware, and specialties. 2) Provide new piping to adjust existing domestic cold, hot and hot water return systems. See drawings. 3) Domestic water booster pump. 4) Water softener for the domestic hot water supply. See drawings. 5) Painting: See Division 9 specifications. Paint all exposed piping, insulation, hangers, accessories in interior exposed areas. Paint exterior pipe supports. Coordinate paint type, color and scope of work with Architect. It is the District's desire to award the Project to a single Contractor, however, the District reserves the right to award portions of the work to different Contractors, to make an award to a single Contractor or to make no award in connection with this solicitation should it meet the needs of the District. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submissions or to waive all informalities and irregularities. The District also reserves the right to award each of the above to projects to one firm or to multiple f irms.
