Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Auburn, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Project Description: In accordance with plans and specifications prepared by GHD Inc., the Work includes includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tax, equipment, and services for the construction and completion of new sewer and water mains and services in Newcastle, CA. The work will be divided between work inspected by PCWA, work inspected by SPMUD, and work inspected jointly by both entities: PCWA: Construct approximately one thousand six hundred fifty-four (1,654) linear feet of 8-inch water main and replacement of twenty-two (22) existing water services. Installation of five (5) new fire hydrant assemblies and two (2) new air vacuum release valves. SPMUD: Construct approximately one thousand seven hundred (1,700) linear feet of 6-inch gravity sewer pipeline, sewer manholes, and 4- and 6-inch diameter sewer laterals. Remove and abandon existing 4- and 6-inch gravity sewer pipes and laterals and reconnect existing sewer laterals to the new gravity sewer main. Realign and reconstruct private sewer laterals on private property and reconnect to the new gravity sewer line within the right-of-way. Joint Work: Construct approximately 33,871 square feet of pavement overlay.
