Placer County is inviting qualified firms to submit formal sealed proposals to provide a turnkey Solar Energy Project including engineering, procurement, construction, permitting, connection, operation, and maintenance. This project is a replacement of a former Solar Fixed Tilt System. The system has been completed removed, including the underground footings. It is anticipated that the new system will be 966 kWh, preferred. The installation site is an open graveled area directly behind the Placer County Juvenile Detention Facility at 11260 B Avenue in Auburn, California. The Solar Project will provide service to the Juvenile Detention Facility, and two adjacent facilities - Placer County Animal Services Center at 11232 B Avenue, and Auburn Justice Center at 2929 Richardson Drive. All three buildings will be combined under NEM2A.
