The work under this contract consists of providing all necessary labor, material and equipment required for this project to replace the existing deteriorated bridge with a new two-lane bridge without the current clearance restrictions. The project entails the removal of the existing deteriorated steel truss bridge and laid-up stone block substructures, followed by the installation of a new prefabricated galvanized steel truss bridge. The new bridge will be supported by cast-in-place reinforced concrete substructures, which will be founded on driven pipe piles. Additionally, the project includes ancillary tasks, such as tree removal, installation of excavation walls, cofferdams, and turbidity curtains to establish a staging area, reconstruction of approach roadways, drainage improvements, tree replanting, and aesthetic surface treatments on the concrete bridge barriers and substructures.
