Gila County is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors for the provision of property clean-up services for sites identified as public health nuisances, environmental health nuisances, or code violations throughout Gila County. All procurement activities conducted by Gila County are in conformance with the rules and regulations in the Gila County procurement code. Gila County has dedicated funding in fiscal year 2025-26 (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026) for property clean-up services for sites identified as public health nuisances, environmental health nuisances, or code violations throughout Gila County. The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to select one or more contractor(s) to perform the clean-ups on properties selected by the county. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to: o Removal of: o Junk and debris o Household garbage o Household appliances o Weeds o Dead trees o Household chemicals o Burnt-out mobile homes, RVs, or cars o Burnt or otherwise destroyed home and construction debris o Mitigation of pest and rodent harborage areas o Appropriate abandonment of cesspools or failed septic systems o Demolition of structures o With proper permit(s) o Asbestos remediation and removal o Ensure property has no remaining public health nuisance, environmental health nuisance, or code violation issues o Return property to bare-earth state
