The Town of Stow, hereinafter called the Awarding Authority, or Town is requesting sealed bids for: Great Road (Route 117)/Hudson Road Intersection Improvements to be performed as necessary under the direction of the Awarding Authority personnel at selected sites throughout the Town of Stow. The scope of work consists of improvements to the intersection of Great Road and Hudson Road. The project includes pavement milling and box widening, pavement resurfacing, constructing new sidewalks with ADA compliant pedestrian ramps, installing new traffic signals with mast arms, applying pavement markings, installing signs, erosion control, providing traffic control and other miscellaneous items of work. The work also includes minor signal modifications at the intersection of Great Road with Harvest Drive. Bid Security from the Contractor in the form of cash, certified check, treasurers check, or cashiers check, drawn upon a responsible bank in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be made payable to the Town of Stow, Massachusetts and shall be enclosed with the bid.
