Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Gander, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
Closing Time: 1:00 PM (NT) To supply all labour, materials and equipment to repair defective asphalt area by milling out 610mm in width and 50mm in depth, removing, cleaning, tacking before replacing with new asphalt. New asphalt to be 58-28 asphalt warm grip and compacted to engineers satisfaction. This work are is located Runway 03/21 in an area that will be closed while work is ongoing. Total scope of work will be determined by cost. Keeping budgetiary factors in mind and using costing from previous work, the total lenght of work is estimated at 3000 linear meters. 6.1 Provide the Airport Authority with the following information before start; Insurance Coverage - 2 million General Insurance Workers' Compensation - Letter of Good Standing NL Construction Safety Asso. - Letter of Good Standing Certificate of Safety and Supervision 6.2 Observe and enforce construction safety measures required by Provincial/Federal Governments and Worker's Compensation. 6.3 In the event of conflict between any provision of above authorities, the most stringent provisions will apply. 6.4 Strictly observe and enforce all Gander Airport instructions relating to work performed in an active operational area.
