Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Perry, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

All Contractors and their Subcontractors must be prequalified by ODOT for work being performed on this project. Bids submitted by Contractors that are not prequalified will not be considered. A pre-construction conference shall be scheduled with the Office of the Lake County Engineer at least seven (7) days prior to the performance of this contract. The work covered by the plans and specifications includes: Remove the existing structure on Manchester Road over Red Mill Creek including the pedestrian bridge and replace it with a single span galvanized steel beam bridge with a composite reinforced concrete deck on reinforced concrete semi-integral abutments and reinforced concrete footings with driven H-piles. A 4 wide concrete sidewalk will be on the proposed bridge. The project also includes roadway approach work including guardrail and other associated work shown on the plans. Storm sewer updates and new guardrail is also included. Traffic is to be maintained via a detour route. All work under this contract shall be completed by October 30, 2026. Pursuant to R.C. 153.01 et. seq., the bid must be accompanied by an original sealed document (uploaded for online bidders) in the form of a bond for the full amount (100%) of the bid OR by a certified check, cashiers check, or irrevocable letter of credit equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, drawn on a solvent bank, payable to the Treasurer of Lake County, Ohio, as surety that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Should any bid be rejected said surety shall forthwith be returned to the bidder and should any bid be accepted such bid bond, certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit will be returned to the bidder upon proper execution and securing of the contract.
