VFD Parking Lot Installation Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442; Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60 -1.4); Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business Enterprise); Executive Order 12138 (Utilization of Female Business Enterprise); in compliance with Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July, 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran Owned Small Businesses. All bidders must submit a bid bond, in the amount of 10% of bid, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, or other form of negotiable instrument which is guaranteed by a commercial bank. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any form of a bid bond which, in the sole opinion of the Borough, does not provide sufficient security for the bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any portion of any bid, waiver informality or irregularity of any bid or in the bidding and/or negotiate with the receipt of bids. The Borough reserves the right to increase or decrease any or all quantities. No bid will be accepted after the time herein specified whether or not the bidder has a time other than the official Borough time. Bidders MUST be Pre-Qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to perform all associated work on this project. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days once filed with the Borough of Port Vue. The Borough of Port Vue reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. ** doc info : Requests for mailing will be honored with an additional fee of Eighteen Dollars ($18.00) PER SET. NO documents will be issued within 48 hours of the scheduled bid opening. The work under this project includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment required for the performance of all reconstruction as indicated on the Contract Documents. The work essentially includes, but is not limited to: A. Bulk excavation and fill for construction of new asphalt parking lot. B. All required fine grading, excavation, bedding and backfill, including the furnishing and installation of aggregate as specified and disposal of excess and unsuitable excavated materials to an approved disposal site. C. Line painting for parking stalls and directional painting as shown on plans. D. The complete cleanup of the entire site of work. I. The completion of all required restoration, paving, landscaping, and any other such related and required work. J.
