Site work and paving for a road / highway in Amity, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Dividing Ridge Road Improvements Project - Includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete trench repairs, mill and widen a section of roadway, and install a 2" compacted 19.0mm asphalt overlay on a section of Dividing Ridge Road. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 15% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Amwell Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract. Amwell Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. It is the intent to prescribe a complete project which the Contractor undertakes to do, in full compliance with the Drawings, Specifications, Proposal and the Contract, including the furnishing of all supervision, technical personnel, labor, materials, machinery, tools, appurtenances, equipment, transportation, utility services, and all other means required to construct and complete construction. All notices, demands, requests, questions, instructions, approvals, proposals, claims, or other communications shall be in writing and directed to Amwell Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, at 885 Amity Ridge Road, Amity, PA 15311.
