Reference Number 0000391505 The County of Peoria is currently accepting bids from qualified vendors for Bid #18-02-25 Demolition of Unsafe Structure. This project is a Public Works Project and will be subject to Prevailing Wage Act. Please see "General Instructions to Bidders" for details. In addition to the Prevailing Wage Act requirements, Peoria County requires any General, or Sub-Contractor for contracts of $30,000 or greater, to participate in an Apprenticeship Training Program and to submit a "Certificate of Apprenticeship and Training" with bid response. General Contractors will be required to submit names of any/all subcontractors to be used on this project. Additionally, all vendors providing services for construction work on the public works project must enter into Peoria County's Community Workforce Agreement with the affiliates of the West Central Illinois Building and Construction Trades Council and Peoria County, solely for construction and demolition work on this specific project, per Chapter 6.5-34 through 6.5-36 of the Peoria County Code of Ordinances. The Community Workforce Agreement template is included in the bid specifications for review. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly recorded immediately following the closing time set for the receipt of bids. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the given requirements. The County of Peoria reserves the right to award to either a single or multiple vendors. The County reserves the right to waive technicalities and accept the bid that best suits its needs.
