Renovation of a municipal facility in Passaic, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
For the Furnishing and Delivery to the City of Passaic of the Following: Fema Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project at Various Locations City of Passaic, Passaic County, New Jersey A Certified Check, or Cashiers Check in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total amount bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00 to insure signing of the contract. . Bidder shall also submit with the bid a Certificate of Surety from a Surety Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey, pursuant to Federal and/or State law as a Surety, stating that it will provide the contractor with a Performance Bond of the total price bid. Successful Contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond (refer to Instruction to Bidders). The City Council has the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. No oral interpretation of the meaning of the specifications will be made to any bidder. Every request for an interpretation shall be in writing, addressed to the City of Passaic representative stipulated in the bid. In order to be given consideration, written requests for interpretation must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids. Any and all such interpretations must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK The outlined project involves several infrastructure improvements within various locations. The primary scope of work involves the in-kind resurfacing of existing asphalt pathways to enhance site conditions and ensure long-term structural integrity. In conjunction with this, Belgian block curbing will be installed along the full extent of the resurfacing limits to provide additional structural support. The project will also include the replacement of natural fill within the designated project areas to further reinforce stability and site performance. All work shall be in accordance with the form of proposal, construction plans, and specifications, dated May 2025, prepared by: Yasseen M.
