The Borough of Millstone is looking to have sidewalk replacement for the existing deteriorated sidewalk on the south side of Amwell Road (CR 650), from 150 feet west of Millstone River Road to 1,100 feet west of Colonial Road (approximately 0.36 miles or 1,900 linear feet). The existing 4-foot-wide deteriorated and heaved sidewalk will be replaced in kind with a 4-inchthick concrete sidewalk. Sidewalks on driveways will be replaced with 6-inch-thick concrete. To comply with ADA requirements, passing spaces must be provided at intervals of 200 feet maximum where the clear width of the sidewalk is less than 5 feet. The passing spaces, which are 5 feet by 5 feet, are required to allow sufficient space for two persons in wheelchairs to pass each other.
