Demolition Services and Abatement of Abandoned Signage for Colerain Township, Ohio All clarifying questions for this request should be directed to Jeff Weckbach, Township Administrator, via email atjweckbach@colerain.org. Colerain Township is a community of over 59,000 residents covering nearly 43 square miles. The Township has one major regional retail corridor along Colerain Avenue, with several other minor commercial corridors crisscrossing the Township. Colerain Township is governed by three independently elected Trustees and one elected Fiscal Officer. The Township will semi-regularly need a demolition team to remove abandoned signs throughout the Township. To assist in the process, the Township is requesting Statements of Qualifications from firms for these demolition services. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to identify firms for a Master Sign Removal Agreement for a period until December 31, 2026, with the option for the Township to renew one or all those agreements in one-year increments, as desired. As the need for sign removal arises, the Township will solicit proposals from one or more firms selected by and at the discretion of the Township. Sign Removal Services are needed for a wide variety of projects at the direction of Colerain Township, on an as-needed basis. The selected firm will be responsible for working with Colerain Township to design and administer demolition and abatement projects. The selected firms must have the capacity to provide some or all the following sign removal services: - Removal of different types of large commercial signs including pole signs. - Full restoration of all surfaces to which signs were attached. - Review of various engineering documents for compliance with Federal and State policies. These services will be required for a wide range of sign removal projects. Please do not include outside consultants to supplement your firm's services. Should a specific task/project require outside expertise or consultants, the firm will work with Township staff to identify those consultants. Projected Contract Commencement: October 31, 2025 Colerain Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to award contracts in whole or in part, to further negotiate proposals in whole or in part, or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the submitted proposals.
