The TOWN OF WAYLAND, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for Pedestrian Safety Improvements on Cochituate Road in Wayland, Massachusetts The Project consists of but is not limited to: Sidewalk and roadway improvements along Pequot Road and Maiden Lane including, installing new granite curbing, new hot mix asphalt curbing, reconstructing hot mix asphalt sidewalks, and pedestrian curb ramps conforming to ADA/AAB requirements, and all other incidental items. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Highway Construction Sidewalks and Curbing All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be forwarded to Brian Luther, Procurement Specialist, bluther@wayland.ma.us by 07/17/2025 at 12:00PM EDT Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the total bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the TOWN OF WAYLAND. The Town of Wayland may cancel this IFB or reject in whole or in part any and all proposals, if they determine that cancellation or rejection serves the best interest of the Town of Wayland.
