The Town of Wayland invites sealed bids for the Wayland Varsity Baseball Field Renovation project. The Town of Wayland reserve the right to waive minor informalities and accept and/or reject any and all bids. No Pre-Bid Conference will be held for this project. Question Deadline 10/10/2025 Bidders are requested to immediately and thoroughly review the IFB and specifications and promptly notify the Town of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error which they may discover. The Town of Wayland is seeking bids to perform renovations on the High School Varsity Baseball Field, which is located at 264 Old Connecticut Path in Wayland. Sports, specifically school sports, are very popular in Wayland and Wayland has one of the highest percentages of school students who play sports. Due to deferred maintenance and other compounding issues, the field is in acceptable to poor shape and needs renovations to bring it back to useable, playable standards The broad scope of the work to be perormed includes sod and soil removal, infield excavation, irrigation modifications, regrading, sod installation, field material improvements, and final field setup. The total renovation area is approximately 20,000 to 25,000 square feet, covering the entire infield and the perimeter transition zones approximately 16' into the outfield. There will be no pre-bid conference or optional site visit for this IFB.
