SHARP Inc is seeking a qualified architectural firm to provide architectural / engineering services for the renovation of 92 multifamily and townhome units that make up its Greenback Grove project. Ideally, proposers will have experience with multi-family renovation projects in the Sacramento, CA area. Anticipated Construction Completion June 2027 It is the intent of SHARP to award one (1) contract, but at it's discretion, may contract up to two (2) firms for Architectural Services for Greenback Grove Project specified in this RFP document. The total number of contracts awarded is at the sole discretion of SHARP. The contract shall be for an initial period of two (2) years with the option to add up to One (1) additional period.. The additional period will be at the sole discretion of SHARP and based on the needs of the project at that time. Greenback Grove includes five separate properties. The rehabilitation work includes interior improvements, repair or replacement of mechanical and electrical systems, replacing windows and exterior finishes, ADA compliance, rehabilitation of the units and limited site work as outlined in the scope of work. Additionally, a new community building (600 SF - 1000 SF) will be constructed in the first four properties listed below. Several of the properties shall also receive small new Community buildings as part of this project. 15. Award of Contract Following the selection of the most qualified Respondent(s), a contract will be negotiated and executed with that Respondent. If SHARP is unable to negotiate a satisfactory agreement with the selected Respondent, it will undertake negotiations with the next ranked Respondent, and so on, until a satisfactory agreement is reached. A sample contract is provided under #Attachment. The prospective firms are advised to review the contract, all of the provisions and attachments to the contract before submitting their proposals. The full execution of a written contract shall constitute the making of a contract for services and no contractor shall acquire any legal or equitable rights relative to the contract services until the contract has been fully executed by the successful Respondent and SHARP. The services under this contract may be used by any department, division, or legal entity of SHARP. 16. Mistake in Proposal If after Proposal Closing Time but prior to a contract award, a proposer discovers a mistake in their proposal that renders the proposer unwilling to perform under any resulting contract, the proposer must immediately notify the contact person listed above in writing and request to withdraw the proposal. The notice shall be addressed to the SHARP Contracting Officer, signed by a duly authorized officer of the proposer and delivered to the Proposal Submittal Address listed. It shall be solely within the SHARP's discretion as to whether withdrawal will be permitted. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
