Scope of Services :the Contractor Shall Furnish and Maintain All Labor, Supervision, Equipment, Materials, and Supplies Necessary to Perform Fencing Services and Repairs--many of Which May Require Timely Response--at Various Locations Throughout the City and County of Sacramento, in Accordance With the Specifications Outlined in This Solicitation. Fencing Materials May Include but Are Not Be Limited to: Redwood, Ornamental Iron, and Chain Link. All Contractors on the Qualified List Will Be Notified When a Service Request Arises. The Agency Will Coordinate With the Selected Contractor--determined as the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder From the Qualified List--to Establish a Start Date for Each Project. The Selected Contractor Must Hold and Maintain at Least One of the Following Licenses at All Times During the Contract Term: C-13 Fencing, or C-23 Ornamental Metal. The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (Agency), on Behalf of the City and County Housing Authorities, is Issuing a Request for Qualifications (Rfq) for California-licensed C-13 Fencing Contractors to Provide Fencing Services, Including Installation, Repair, and Replacement Throughout Sacramento. Materials May Include, but Are Not Limited to, Redwood, Wrought Iron, and Chain Link. Liquidated Damages: Contractors Agree to Pay $50.00 Per Day as Liquidated Damages for Failure to Complete Work by the Required Date. Prevailing Wages Shall Be Applicable to All Contracts Over $1,000.00 for State Prevailing Wage Properties Listed on Public Housing Property List (Attached) or $2,000.00 for Properties Subject to Hud Determined Maintenance Wages or Davis Bacon Wages (Residential or Building). The Agency May Extend This Contract to Other Divisions or Departments and May Also Solicit and Award Separate Contracts for Similar Services at Any Time During the Contract Term. California State Prevailing Wages Shall Be Applicable to All Activities at the Addresses as Indicated on the Pha Property List. This Contract is Subject to State of California Prevailing Wages. A Copy of the Wages Are Available at Online The Contractor and All Subcontractors Shall Pay State Prevailing Wage Rather Than the Davis-bacon Wage for That Trade. The Contractor and All Subcontractors, of Any Tier, Must Comply With the Requirements of the California Labor Code Including but Not Limited to Sections 1771, 1774, 1775, 1776, 1777.5, 1813 and 1815. Reject Quotes From Contractors With Outstanding Punch List Items or Unresolved Issues. The Number of Rejections May Reflect the Number of Such Items at the Time of Evaluation. A Bid Request May Also Be Canceled if Quoted Costs Exceed Available Funding. It is the Intent of the Agency to Award One (1) Contract to Up to Six (6) Contractors for Qualified Vendor List for Fencing Services Over $24,000. Specified in This Rfq Document. The Total Number of Contracts Awarded is at the Sole Discretion of the Agency. The Contract Shall Be for an Initial Period of Two (2) Years With the Option to Add Up to Three (3) Additional Periods. Provided That Under No Circumstances Shall the Contract Term, as Extended, Exceed a Total of 5 Years. If the Initial Contract Term is Less Than 5 Years, Any Additional Periods Are at the Sole Discretion of the Agency Based on the Contractor's Performance and the Agency's Needs. Should the Agency Choose to Exercise Its Option to Extend the Contract, the Selected Contractor Will Be Given the Opportunity to Amend the Annual Fees After the Initial Term as Part of Their Submittal to This Rfq. Contractor Shall Inform the Agency at Least Sixty (60) Calendar Days Prior to Contract Expiration of Their Desire to Revise the Proposed Fees for the Upcoming Year.
