All work performed within the territorial jurisdiction of the Navajo Nation is subject to the Navajo Sales Tax of 6% (24 N.N.C Section 601 et. Seq.). The Navajo Nation is a sovereign government, and all contracts entered as a result of the RFP shall comply with all Navajo Nation laws, rules and regulations, including the Navajo Preference in Employment Act and Navajo Nation Procurement Rules and Regulations. The Navajo Nation will not waive its sovereignty status. SCOPE OF SERVICES Roof work shall include the complete roof replacement that will include disposal of all aged material and replace with a metal pro panel roofing system with a minimum metal 26-gauge commercial. All metal pro panel roofs shall meet this minimum requirement for replacement. Replacement of damaged roof membrane and rain gutter shall be made as needed on each structure. Some roofing may be easier to install TOP on 2% slop roofing. Otherwise, Contractor must decide what system will be sufficient and appropriate. All rain gutters will be replaced, again contractor much inspect the current roofing and decided the best roofing system All debris resulting from construction will be disposed of to an appropriate landfill.
