A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include: West Campus Entry Gateway Improvements, Idaho Ave: this project includes a new monument sign intended to welcome visitors to the athletic venue facilities, as well as providing athletic branding for the University of Idaho. The new monument signage will be located on the southeast corner of Perimeter Drive and Idaho Avenue with associated ornamental fencing on the northeast corner of Perimeter Drive and Idaho Avenue. The new monument sign includes the signage wall with lettering along with the "Joe Vandal" logo, with gothic rail/fencing, tall banner structures as bid alternate. Landscaping and irrigation are included with the new monument sign as well as repairs for existing irrigation zones and existing plantings. New electrical will be extended from the stub out location previously installed under previous work last year for the lighting the letters and banners poles. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required.
