Renovation of a multi-residential development in Cortland, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

As Bid Security, Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond Made Payable to the Owner In the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total of Base Bid and All Alternates, in Accordance With the Terms Described in the Instructions to Bidders. Separate prime contract work: Elevators: $1,650,000 Vestibule Renovations: $150,000 As bid security, each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total of base bid and all alternates, in accordance with the terms described in the instructions to bidders. Question Deadline 07/28/2025 All questions prior to bid opening must be received by the close of business Questions shall be directed to David R. Document Notes : If mailing is requested, a separate check of $30 made payable to AJH Design is required to cover postage and handling. All checks for deposit of Contract Documents and shipping shall be made payable to Cortland Housing Authority. All Prime Contract Bidders who have paid the aforesaid deposit for an entire set of Bidding and Contract Documents and have submitted a bid with required bid security; and return such sets to AJH Design in good condition within fifteen (15) calendar days after the award of contract or rejection of bids, shall receive a refund of the full amount of such deposit. Any non-bidder may be refunded his deposit only upon returning plans and specifications prior to the bid opening. Postage and handling are not refundable. The Cortland Housing Authority is an equal opportunity employer. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE) are encouraged to submit a bid. The Owner Also Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. Renovations of existing entrance vestibules and 42 Church Street and 51 Port Watson Street including storefront entrance replacement and ceiling and lighting replacement. B. Improvements to the elevator car finishes and replacement of elevator operating equipment and car and shaft doors. C. Provide disconnection and reconnection of electrical motors. D. Contract Documents dated June 30, 2025 were prepared for the Project by AJH Design, 111 East 14th Street, Elmira Heights, NY 14903. E. Prime Contracts are separate contracts between the Owner and independent contractors, representing significant construction activities. Each Prime Contract is performed concurrently, and closely coordinated, with construction activities performed on the Project under other Prime Contracts. 1. Prime Contracts include: a.
