Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lowell, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of July 29, 2025 this project has been awarded to Michigan Paving for the amount of $681,777.50. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. The City of Lowell is soliciting sealed proposals for the 2025 Lowell Streets Project. Work items include the removal of existing HMA pavement; placement and grading of new aggregate base; installation of new HMA pavement; intermittent curb and gutter replacement; and replacement of lead and galvanized water service lines, including installation of water meter chambers. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond by a recognized surety in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total of the bid price. After the time of opening, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of Sixty (60) days. The City of Lowell reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Lowell.
