The City of Villa Rica is Seeking a Well-qualified Company to Furnish Material, Labor, Supervision, and Equipment Required to Replace the Basketball Gym Bleachers at Gold Dust Park. Responses to Questions Posted on Website July 18th, 2025. he contractor shall furnish all material, equipment, and labor to remove and replace two sets of bleachers in our basketball gym located at Gold Dust Recreation Department. Site visits other than the mandatory pre-bid meeting do not need City Staff approval. Any bidder may visit the site at any time. If there is a change or deviation request, these requests must be submitted via email and approved by the City of Villa Rica. There are photos at the end of this RFP (Exhibit A & B) showing the current condition of the bleachers being used. The awarded vendor will be required to remove and dispose of the existing bleachers, install the new bleachers per specifications below, and make the electrical connections for the motorized operation of the bleachers. The City will want to choose the colors of the bleachers after the bid is awarded. There is a roll up door that exits to the exterior of the building. The City of Villa Rica will provide the electrical circuit for the motorized operation of the bleachers to the electrical disconnect. There are three individual banks of bleachers. The City of Villa Rica is seeking bids to have motorized, telescopic bleachers installed, replacing the existing. This bid shall include the following scope of work: _ Removal of existing bleachers. _ Disposal of removed bleachers off-site. _ Bank 1: (SEE EXHIBIT B) -Install bank 1set of bleachers. These shall be 6 rows by 90'6" long. Bleacher shall be attached to the block wall with approved anchors. The bleacher shall have friction power operation with 10" Vinyl type seating surface. -The rise shall be 10 _" and span 24". The total seating shall be 299 seats with 4 handicaps. -There shall be (3qty) NFPA foot level aisle with intermediate steps and self-storing aisle rails. -They shall have (4qty) 3' permanent ADA notch-outs without rails and (2qty) sets of self-storing end rails. -They shall have (2qty) vinyl end curtains. _ Bank 2: (SEE EXHIBIT A) -Install bank 1set of bleachers. These shall be 6 rows by 40'9" long. Bleacher shall be attached to the block wall with approved anchors. The bleacher shall have friction power operation with 10" Vinyl type seating surface. -The rise shall be 10 _" and span 24". The total seating shall be 124 seats with 2 handicaps. -There shall be (2qty) NFPA foot level aisle with intermediate steps and self-storing aisle rails. -They shall have (2qty) 3' permanent ADA notch-outs without rails and (2qty) sets of self-storing end rails.
