The goal of this project is to remove the existing bus stop signs and replace them with the new aluminum signs as described below at an estimated 303 bus stops. NIGP Codes: 96880, 96279 Scope of the Project The goal of this project is to remove the existing FXBGO! bus stop signs and replace them with the new aluminum signs as described below at an estimated 303 bus stops. This scope of work requires removal of old signs and installation of new signs at the same site. The new signs will be provided by FXBGO! and the old signs shall be disposed of by the contractor in the manner specified by FXBGO!. Signs should be installed facing oncoming traffic and locations and height standards must follow either the state and/or local regulations. Only the new signs and posts will be provided by FXBGO!. Installation and related hardware and materials will be provided by the contractor. FXBGO! will assume that the Contractor has investigated and is satisfied with the expected conditions, quality of work expected, and the detailed requirements of this IFB. This project includes the installation of new signs, the installation of new signs and posts, mounting of signs onto posts, mounting signs onto walls/buildings/structures, the relocation of posts and reinstallation, fixing leaning posts with signs, removal of signs and/or posts, and the conversion of certain posts to a design that currently reflects the localities standardsfor poststype. Existing busstop signs are currently installed near busshelters, on utility posts, or on designated posts, and other structures. This contract is subject to the requirements of Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 26, Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Financial Assistance Programs. The national goal for participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises(DBE) is 10%. The agency's overall goal for DBE participation is 5.27%. A separate contract goal of DBE participation has not been established for this procurement
