Sealed Bids in single copy for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and performing all work for the City of Wasilla Bumpus Recreational Area Restroom Installation The City of Wasilla reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities and irregularities in bidding or award of the Contract. This project will provide all labor, equipment and materials required to install pre-manufactured concrete restrooms at 2 locations within the Bumpus Recreational Area located off Mystery Drive, within the City of Wasilla. The City has ordered 2 CXT restroom units to be delivered to the project locations with an estimated delivery date of late August to September. Contractor will be required to coordinate the final site delivery and offload structures from freight company trailer within 1 week notice of arrival to Anchorage freight yard. Installation shall include earthwork, plumbing, water utility service connection and on-site septic per attached drawings. Common excavation from septic area is anticipated to be adequate quantity and quality for structural section use (with the exception of graded sub-base). Waste material can be disposed of on site in approved locations. Electrical service will be completed under a separate contract. Locations on maps are approximate; the final staking of location will be performed by City staff. Submittals required: 1) Subcontractor licensing 2) Sub-grade and leveling course sieve analysis 3) Crane certification 4) Lifting Plan Bumpus Softball Complex The Bumpus Softball Complex is located at 1901 W. Mystery Ave. Wasilla, AK. The "Taos" unit with two restrooms with multiple stalls is designated for this site. The proposed location of the CXT restroom is between the softball fields near the pavilion. The existing water service is shown to be a 2-inch polyethylene service running east and west down the center of the location. The proposed service shall be achieved by a "tee" located outside the structure footprint following the City's standard water service details including a curb stop valve. The proposed on-site septic system will consist of a 2000-gallon concrete tank or approved poly equivalent configuration with a deep trench leach field per drawings. All cleanouts, manholes and monitoring tubes shall have at grade valve boxes and manhole lids due to use of this area. Bumpus Soccer Complex The Bumpus Soccer Complex is located at 1950 W. Mystery Ave. Wasilla, AK. The "Denali" unit with two restroom stalls is designated for this site. The proposed location of the CXT restroom is north of the soccer fields and access road. The existing water main is shown to be a 6-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) service running east and west along the north side of the access road (to be verified in the field). The proposed service shall be achieved by a live tap following the City's standard water service details including a curb stop valve. Useable timber (>6") shall be limbed and stacked along roadway for public disposal. All waste material can be disposed of on site in either approved waste site or approved slip trench method. The proposed on-site septic system will consist of a 2000-gallon concrete tank or approved poly tank equivalent configuration with a "deep trench" leach field per drawings. Standard abovegrade cleanouts and monitoring tubes are acceptable at this location.
