McNeil Station Generator Protection Design (Mechanical to Digital Relay Upgrade) The scope of this project is limited to engineering design, development of relay settings, drawings and documentation of the updated protection scheme. It does NOT include procurement or installation of any hardware. Specific tasks included in the scope of this project are as follows: 1. Conduct site visit(s) as needed to understand the existing design and physical layout of relevant equipment at McNeil Generating Station. 2. Select digital relay devices to achieve equivalent or improved protection. 3. Provide documentation specifying vendor model numbers, and all configurations/settings for the new digital relays. 4. Provide complete electrical and mechanical schematic drawings for the installation of new relays stamped by a professional engineer licensed in the State of Vermont. 5. BED staff will install, test and commission all new relays. 6. Review design and settings with BED's engineering and Technician staff. 7. Provide remote support as needed during testing and commissioning. Evaluation of Proposals July 22-25, 2025 Selection of contractor July 22-25, 2025 Date project may begin July 28, 2025 Date project must be completed October 31, 2025 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
