Renovation of a military facility in Newport, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This project at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division in Newport, Rhode Island is planning a construction project for improvements to the Building 1246 VPT Area in support of the Virginia Payload Module (VPM) Program. The building will be modernized to support the program and includes upgrades to the existing mezzanine in the VPT area of Building 1246. The project will also include upgrades to the existing metal grating deck to support a new modular control room to house the new Engineering Development Modules (EDM) to be located on the mezzanine. A dedicated exterior stairway to the mezzanine will be constructed to enhance access to the new control room. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information. Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = 390 calendar days
