This Project Entails the Installation of Plantings Around the Top Edge of the Recharge Basin and Partially Surrounding The Soccer Field at Anthony Casamento Park. The Scope Includes the Placement of Trees, Shrubs, and Plants Per the Town of Islip and New York State Details and Specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid and made payable to the Town of Islip. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive any formality and/or informality in any or all bids and to accept the bid or part thereofwhich it deems most favorable to the Town after all bids have been examined and checked. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after being publicly opened and read. In the event bids are rejected or at least two are not received the Department of Purchase is authorized to re-advertise for bids. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid for under the contract.
