Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Fergus, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Replacement of the superstructure of Bridge 4-F. This is a small 1.7m wide by 13m long walking bridge that is part of an existing walkway that connects Tower St North to Templin Gardens behind the Fergus Grand Theater in downtown Fergus. The following is a general but not necessarily a complete description of the works: - Removal of the existing superstructure including railing system, deck and steel girders - Prepare existing concrete bearing seats with additional, dowels, reinforcing steel and concrete - Install three W310 x 97 Steel Girders at approximately 13 metres in length - Replace existing wood deck with new laminated wood deck system - Reinstate existing railing system Documents can be obtained from https://centrewellington.bidsandtenders.ca Question Deadline: Mon Jul 14, 2025 2:00:00 PM (EDT) Award is subject to final approval
