The Block Retaining Walls Replacement/Rehabilitation project shall generally consist of the following The project, located at the intersection of Lane and Summit, the southeast corner of Gilbert and Lee, and The southeast corner of Finley and Brook, generally consists of the removal and re-erecting, new installation, and repair of approximately 156 square feet of modular block retaining wall, approximately 555 square feet of 5" thick P.C.C. sidewalk replacement, timber removal, and related restoration. All work must comply with the latest requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), the Illinois Accessibility Code (IAC) and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). All requests for interpretations or clarifications shall be made in writing and received by the Village at least five (5) business days prior to the date set for receipt of Bids or the pre-bid conference, if offered Bid Bond Yes, 5% Repairs to retaining walls at Gilbert Ave and Lee Ave as well as new retaining walls and replacement of sidewalk at Finley Rd and Brook Dr as well as Lane Pl and Summit St. The Village Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities and to accept or reject any item of any Bid.
