Work on this project includes the purchase of rock salt to be used for snow and ice control of City roadways and public right-of-ways. Bid Bond 5% of Contract CONTRACT PERIOD: Contract award through May 31, 2030 WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS Bidders may withdraw or cancel their bids at any time prior to the advertised bid opening time. After the bid opening time, no bid shall be withdrawn or canceled for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. When contract approval is required by another agency, such as the Federal Government or the State of Illinois, no bid shall be withdrawn or canceled for a period of ninety (90) calendar days. The City of Evanston (the City) in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that the contract(s) entered into pursuant to this Notice will be awarded to the successful Bidders without discrimination on the ground of race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, familial status or national origin. The City of Evanston reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or to accept the submittal(s) deemed most advantageous to the City.
