Project will be rebid but no definite date yet.** The work generally consists of the following: This project is located within the City of Dunedins Highlander Park Complex. The existing courts are accessed off of Ed Eckert Drive. There are the four courts to the southeast of Eckert Dr. The project consists of resurfacing the existing courts, replacing nets, posts, fencing, windscreens, and Question Deadline 07/29/2025 perimeter concrete edge sections. Also included are shade structures and benches. The time allotted for this project is 60 days for substantial completion. All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening. The request should be sent in writing via email to purchasing@dunedinfl.net. The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. An addendum posted to online. The last addendum will be posted to online five (5) days before the bid due stated below. The City reserves the right to modify this schedule at any time. In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidders name and address. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the BIDDER will not withdraw from the competition after the opening of the bids and, if written notice is given of such award, enter into a written Contract with the City of Dunedin, Florida, in accordance with the written Proposal. Should the successful BIDDER fail to enter into a Contract, the bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Certificate of Insurance and a Performance and Payment Bond and meet other requirements, as set forth in the contract. The City of Dunedin, Florida, reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, waive any irregularities or informalities, re-advertise, and award the Contract in its best interest. Bids that are incomplete or that are not submitted in accordance with the instructions in the invitation may be disqualified.
